First photo is of the swing out sitting against the lower rear stopper which was ground back to fit. The fourth photo shows how the bumper attaches to the passenger side of the vehicle (it needs to be rotated clockwise 45 degrees but it wouldn't post in that format). The 6mm thick plate that sticks out hroizontally to the left needs to be bent with an oxy and will then be bolted to the chassis through the original hole that is there. (not visible in photo)

The second and third photos are of the axle and hub I had machined.

Thanks for the comments guys. I dropped around to Hammond 4wd on Friday to have a wheel re balanced after some of the weights fell off, and was happy to see my spare rim had arrived. Couple of pics of the tyre carrier with tyre below. You will notice that the spare sits quite low on the swing out. I wanted it low to be able to have better vision out the back and to try to keep a lower centre of gravity. There is no bump stop on the swing out as the spare tyre rests against the drivers side rear fender and should not leave any mark with rubber on plastic.

Xcilr8 I've also attached a few more photos of the rock sliders?side steps for your plans. Hope these help.

This weekend I'll fit the extended brake lines to the front and then work something out with the hand brake cables to get full flex on all wheels without issue. I should finally be able to get out and get dirty on a regular basis. Should also finish the wiring for the trailer connection if all goes well.

Things will slow down a bit as I head back to work after 8 days off. I intend to fab a front bumper and then a new belly plate. I'll fit a MML prior to fabing a new belly plate to get some added clearance. Will also have to fix up the rear mud flaps. Then I hope to fit a new stereo and UHF. If things all go well I hope to have new gears and lockers in prior to Jambo.
