You think you have fun with computers! My home PC was an old secondhand 32bit duel core running XP. Was good to use. Then hard drive failed & killed mother board in mid December.
Got another second hand one. & got some one to ave most of data off old HD. No passwords saved! Had it set up so I didnt need password on startup.
Still trying to get some things working.
Even had to reset AJOR password.
Lost printer/photo edit program & cant find old CD.
Also have a cheap laptop, $199 from Harveys a year ago. its on win10, not as good as XP but cant do anything about that. Only use free wifi with it.
Just as well XJ's are more reliable than computers!! Or we would be all stuck in the bush walking home!!

You gotta be Shitting Me .............. I moved the 99 the other day to mow the lawn it has been sitting for a while with a solar panel to keep the battery charged I couldn't find any tape so I never got around to testing the key thing .. but it fired up straight away .. running perfectly it still has a vibration in reverse I believe the gearbox mount should fix this ...
But the drivers door window wont work now ? it was working before ?
Must be the switch as everything else still works on the door I am yet to pull it apart and have a good look .......
it could be the weather as it was baked for years and recently we have had a fair bit of rain
Put it on the list I will get around to it soon

Yep, the XJ's are getting on a bit now, and sometimes it takes a while to iron out all the bugs that keep popping up.
Just keep plugging away at all the niggles...

Cheers,

You will get there Mark. You have actually been a bit quiet lately? I'm all happy with my XJ now and don't want to touch it. Only took 12 years haha..
Even the Grand i bought my daughter is running tip top now.
They just need a bit of love and their good to go.

Cheers,
