I've got to feel for the guy...If that happened to me I would be screaming blue-murder...To be without the Jeep for 7 months out of 2.5 years is totally unacceptable regardless of whether it's a Jeep or not...

It's a 2009 CRD I am led to believe...Maybe one of those lemons I hear about prior to the Fiat buy-out of Chrysller?

i had a 08 crd jk and it blew the radiator coolant bottle and ended up seizing the motor at 48000, it took 8 months to get the car back and even then the work that was done was some of the worst work i have seen!! bolts left out and they didnt even bother to put the windscreen washer bottle back in. short story is that i will never buy/deal with Chrysler or where the work was done ever again.

This is very scary for me now I feel like I'm driving a ticking time bomb if it does happen to blow up I would like to do a ls

who cares?

every car on the road is a ticking time bomb. just like your own body.

you are slowly driving it to its final failure and demise.

better off doing what you're meant to do (look after it as recommended) and just enjoy it while it lasts.
