Default CRD 2.7 operating Temperature

I sure mine runs cold, does anyone know where I can I find out where I can get the info on the correct operating temperature at normal use.

Has anyone put a thermometer in their radiator when hot to see what the temp is?

Where does the needle sit on your (anyone) Gauge?

Hey there Tricky

Mine sits at 90 degrees pretty well constantly, as indicated by the gauge. That's halfway between the hundred mark and the mark below it.

Sorry, but I'm sure as hell not going to remove the radiator cap to test it while its hot

After reaching temperature the needle on my gauge sits at 3/8 ie one marking below the half way mark.
It has sat there all the time with no more than one needles width up or down in variation for the 20000k I've had it - regardless of speed or towing 2t.
