Hope they look good like you say and others will support the Australian company.

Looking at the molds,it will look awesome when fitted.
Hi Rob,

I think i talked to you about this at the last MJOC meeting. Also talked to Phil about snorkels.
R u talking about the Air-Flow one? I think that is the one i want. From what i can understand it has a 3.5" tube, whereas the Safari one is only 2.5"!
Was talking to a guy from ARB, says that Safari always uses a Dyno to test their stuff, and that it won't restrict airflow. What about the Air-Flow one? Any idea about how it connects to the Air-filter? I would like to run a CAI system, and have a new exhaust on order...so don't want any loos of air flow with the snorkel!

Thanks

Karl

Good idea Dan.

I think we need to divide it into Petrol and Diesel also.

Air flo snorkel will be a 5 piece pipe set up including the hat.

It will deliver 140cfm all from 3.5 dia which will improve engine performance.

They will be looking at people to fit them I think through dealers or an outlet.

Plus if there is a demand for them you can have one made the same colour as your car.

I don't know what the price is for them yet.

They will have to remove the side step and front guard to fit it on.

As they do our cars they will also be doing an instruction sheet set up for who ever fits them as a kit form.

Connection will be through the side of the air box and the petrol model might have to have a heat shield installed for the exhaust.

I know for a fact that Airflow do all the air volume calculations including resistance over distance and each bend. When I was there he had a few things to say about Safari not taking these factors into account and had flow tested some to prove the point!

what would be the point of running CAI and snorkel sort of defeats the purpose of snorkel if its not a sealed system
