I'll wait for Airflo so I know that I am getting a snorkel that will do 2 things that I want and not one that will cost me more in fuel and would only stop water.

Airflo are looking at a new snorkel for the TJ after Safari stuff up with the first one they made.

I'm not sure but I think this will also be a freebee for the TJ owner

they are also looking at fuel performance improvment with the new design.

So if you want one give the a call phone number is on the first page.

or call Micheal at Airflo on 5987 3733

must live in the Melbourne area.

Thanks OZ adventure wasn't having a go at you.

Must send you an email need some things for the JK.

I have had an AEV snorkel on backorder from Quadratec for three weeks.
AEV has released the instruction sheet on their web page and stated they have sent product to their stockists all over the US and to procomp here in Oz.
To-day I received the following messages from Quaratec.

>This snorkel is discontinued until further notice which is probably
>about 3 to 6 months.
> From: Sean Wilkes [mailto:swilkes@quadratec.com]

I see REDGP that you posted on the AEV forum as well, looks like it is only the Air Ram version. They have said that it is delayed. What I'd like to know is; will the ram scoop and the cyclonic filter be interchangable?

Went to my local ARB they've got a part number, price and pics of all the bits included. But they are still a few weeks away from having them actually in stock.

In a classic catch-22 ARB seem to have stock of the Safari snorkel for the CRD (in their main warehouse) but no fixed prices...ProComp have prices for the AEV snorkel but no stock! From the website, Safari's looks like a far more complicated setup, with cutouts to side panel and flare, then airflow taken through several separate hoses. A 180 (!) minute install time is quoted. AEV only requires cutout to hood. Both require similar airbox attachment.
