I agree! Would like some extra heat shielding there, as it does get hot under the bonnet!!

Diesel air box is different to the petrol model just a little bit because of the intercooler pipe.Instead of the air conection being on the outside of the air box,on the diesel it's fitted to the inside of the box and all the fins inside and out have to be ground down for it to fit.

Still waiting for mine to come because of the instruction sheet's are being made up.

Just finished fitting the Airflow snorkel this weekend and it took all weekend, it has to go to Gibson for them to do the airbox because of the crd / petrol airbox are not the same.

They want to take pic;s of the fitting so instuction sheet's can be changed.

It was not the easiest thing to fit but it looks great on.

Snorkel was connected and up and running today what a huge difference it makes to the diesel and it's running.

More than happy with the Airflow.

Good to hear you're happy with the performance from your airflow snorkel robbo - I'm looking forward to getting mine fitted very shortly!

Just out of interest, does the car now come on boost earlier?

Cheers

Mine is running on a couple of stuffed injectors at the moment and the take off power is just great,so when it's running fully it's going to be even more.

Fuel is down to 7.3 on the highway and 10.1 around town.

I didn't pay for mine as it was the test car.

there is a write up and pics in this months Melbourne Jeep Owners Club mag that I put together for the club as well as my LED sound bar map lights and how to install them.
