Details of interest include (but not limited to):

Failure type (which bearing?)
Model Year
Kms at time of failure
Gearbox type (auto/manual)
Any ECU tune installed (brand?)
Any EGR removal
Catch can installed?
General Service interval
Oil weight and type used
Location
Tyres size and diff ratios
% time spent used under reasonable load, i.e. towing or with significant weight on board
kms on odometer when purchased
Transmission cooler added? (if so, location on vehicle?)

kms since last service?

It seems like these issues have become less common after seeming quite regular at one point.

Has anyone else experienced this type of failure over the last few years?
the info below would be useful for the rest of us.

Model Year
Kms at time of failure
kms since last service
kms when purchased
Gearbox (auto/manual?)
Any tune installed (brand?)
Tyres size and diff ratios
Oil weight and brand
Location
