Wen and I have 5 girls between us. All of our girls have been camping and 4WDriving and loved it. If we all go, and I was hoping I could arrange that, the cost will be the deciding factor. We would need to take both the XJ and the CJ...
With both Jeeps that would be a grand total of $710 for a family weekend.

Dave & Wen,
Please take the time to consider these things.
Firstly, the Qld Jeepers Club Inc is bound by law to be a non-profit organisation, it is bound by law that it can NOT distribute funds to club members. The Club doesn't need to buy any physical items, it has been established 25 years and has purchased any neccessary items long ago. Even if the Club is closed down, funds can NOT be distributed to members. Over the years, any small amount of funds that have been built up have been distributed to community organisations like The Royal Flying Doctor & Care Flight. It just wouldn't make any sense for the club to budget for a hugh jambo profit, and it hasn't. For those people who go on about the cha-ching of cash registers, they have their own agenda and will be negative towards the jambo no matter how it's organised.
Secondly, I would consider your situation unusual (with 5 children & 2 Jeeps) and my suggestion would be to email
jamboree@queenslandjeepers.com.au and see what can be done to help. The club isn't a corporate conglomerate, it's a bunch of Jeepers like you and me.
I know the word 'email' will upset certain forum members, but the Jamboree is who you should be communicating with if you really want to do something positive and attend a great Jeep event.
Thankyou for your time and I hope to see ALL of you at the Jambo.
