Default Neerim for a Sunday drive with MJOC

Went out exploring in Neerim outside Melbourne with MJOC, a bit drier than last time but we still found some mud to play in and a bit of a creek to cross.

good day out nothing too extreme but lots of fun.

Loaded up with the new camper. Towed great but I think the bavk needs a helping hand. The weigh bridge ticket in the book has it at 155kg on the tow bar and it's only supposed to be around 110 -120. Will need to look at the load and balance it up a bit better, but also thinking of a set of load levellers for the tow bar.

It's actually not as bad as it looks in this pic, it's a bit deceptive with the angle of the ground!

Looks very smart Dave, does that model come with a water tank and did the boys fill it for you? 155kg on the ball seems a tad excessive.

Out of curiosity, how many mills did the rear drop.

I haven't actually measured it! Hoping to look into that this weekend. At a guess the rear dropped about 30mm at least and the front I am guessing rose about 10mm at least. Just found the weighbridge ticket and its listed at 159kg towball weight with a total tare of 1055kg, so a little on the high side or normal ball weight wise.

It did have a full water tank and full gas bottle and all the awning walls, poles and bed flys were just behind the front boot. Will weigh it all up myself just to be sure.

Set her all up after I got home and very happy with the new toy!

Looks great Dave, I'm very interested to hear how you go with it as we nearly purchased the same camper at the Brisbane Caravan show earlier this year but held back as I wasn't sure how the JK would tow it.
