As i found out when I changed the tyres on my jeep.
3 of them were running with tubes in them (tyres were perfectly fine otherwise)

kinda miffed actually at the dealer as i asked them to look into the tpms when i dropped it in for service...

I have seen this on a long trip in summer fully loaded. 3 tyres warm, other one hot. In normal driving its not a problem. Just in more extream conditions can be an issue.
More of a problem is the likelihood of belt/cord damage associated with the original puncture. I have had bumps appear in tyres near a puncture after a repair. If you are just running the kids to school around town, probably it wont be an issue. If you are towing a van around Australia, best not even put it on the back.
