Err ZJ still has D35 - the WJ got the D44a
But the ZJ does have disc rear which means if/when the axle breaks the caliper helps holding it.
Here's my logic:
The ZJ t/case is fulltime only, rather than the selectable t/case in the XJ.
XJ has HP D30 compared to the (old CJ) LP D30.
XJ has uni-joins not cv's
WAY more aftermarket upgrades available for XJ compared to ZJ.
XJ headlights aren't as prone to "falling out".
