The only definite we have for the JK is the snorkel and that is September!"

As I said - I hope you are right, but there seems to be alot of conflicitng info!!
Unfortunately a lot of ARB stores make the mistake of spouting out at the mouth without knowing the full story. They may call ARB head office in Melbourne and ask the sales guys there... but some of them may even not know the full story. This is why I have been in constant contact with the production manager who is in charge of scheduling these bars through the factory.

ANY true corporate ARB store (not privately owned, and linked to the national distribution system) will be able to look right now and see that there is a work order raised on the Kilsyth factory for 25 bars as a "pilot" run. As long as all goes well (as it should as a prototype has already been made), these bars should be finished next week and be sent out to the branches with the oldest customer orders... at least a couple of which will be for here in WA.

Sometimes problems may arise, but not very often. I wouldn't be putting my word on the line if I wasn't realsonably confident that what I'm saying is right. After all, the rear bars did come out on time as I said they would right?

That reminds me of the one of the dealers at Jeep Waneroo arguing with me, last year about the Rubicon's DEFINITELY not becoming available in Australia.
Even though there were already Aussie magazine saying otherwise. He also told me that the rubicons came standard with 33" and were made purely for offroad work, and weren't any good on road anyway!!

I thought the dealers were soposto be living & breathing this stuff?!

that's where i got my Grand from and there were many a lie told, but the best one was "all jeeps pull to the left" while wrestling a grand away from the shop fronts of Wangarra.

well i just saw the front and rear bars on a 4 door Rubi whilst i was getting some new tyres fitted at one of our sponsors!

both bars look good. The front bar was a winch bar but with no cut outs for the fogs and the rear bar looked good as well but no tow hitch.

had the high lift jack points on both, still no better solution for the rear number plate that looks ok!

It was wearing 20in rims withs Coopers STT's looked like it had a 4in lift

sorry i didnt get pics

and yes i am jealous

Not 100% sure on the fog lights. We do have a part number in the system (3550020) which is called a "OEM FOG INSTALL KIT JK BAR", so it looks like it will be an option.

The first batch is completely sold already - however a number of them are sold to ARB stockists so you should be able to get one if you ring around. There are actually quite a few going to some QLD stockists.
