Just chasing some feedback on air bags, in particular the ones distributed by Airbag Man.
Has anyone had these fitted to help leveling while towing / load carrying?
Any issues?
I haven't run them on the jeep, but have run them on my patrol and a pathfinder. I never towed with either car really so can't really comment there but I used them to stiffen up the back end on the pathfinder (ran around 10-12psi in them) because the rear springs were a bit soft and the patrol ute was similar with 4" flexi coil springs but also for when loaded for camping. They do work very well. I had the polyair ones, not airbag man. If you do heaps of offroading, I would suggest getting the protection socks/covers for the them also.

Airbagman do the Firestone airbags I believe. I have had a pair of these in my Discovery for many years and have had no problems with them.
I run soft springs in the rear to give a comfortable ride and when I tow or add load to the rear I pump up the bags to level out the rear.
The one downside to airbags is that the ride is less compliant as the springs can't compress down to the bump stops because of the airbags. This has not ever posed a problem for me but I can't get maximum compression of the spring and the rear end is much firmer. But, I don't have a saggy rear end on the Disco.
I'm also looking at putting some into the JGC Limited at some stage as the Nivomat shocks only go so far in levelling the ride. I have a little more rear sag than I would like so either airbags or reduce the towball weight.

My issue is after fitting draws, fridge, battery etc into back of the GC and even with my 2" lift starting to show some downward deflection. Add camper trailer with towball weight of 260kg (fully loaded) and more gear into the GC the sag becomes apparent.
So far the bags appear to be the only reasonable option.
Have you put your vehicle and camper over a weighbridge? It sounds to me like the Jeep is going to be way over GVM and the rear axle load is probably well over as well.
Is your camper a front fold?
