Welcome to GTD 2016 - This is the 2nd annual GTD that is being hosted by Jeepfreakz Qld & Jeepfreakz Oz.
Despite the name of the event - We welcome all models of Jeeps & Jeep owners to come along. (must have 4L in their vehicle) You do not need to be a member to come along, however this trip is an official club trip & will contribute towards membership if you wish to apply (must complete 2 club trips with us before application can be put in)
All Go Topless Day information will be posted on both events. (JFQ event page & this event page)
Given the Timezone difference we will be the same DAY as the USA as they are running their GTD on May 14th. That way we are all Jeepin in unison.
Meeting locations:
There will be strictly 2 meeting locations for GTD 2016.
Meeting location #1:
McDonald's - Bribie Interchange (open 24hrs)
99 Lear Jet Drive

Times:
Arrive for 5.30/6am (get there early if you want a coffee/breakfast/mingle/photos)
SHARP DEPARTURE TIME - 6.30am!
Those coming to this meeting location, will be required to sign into trip sheets that trip leaders will have on the day - This is a mandatory requirement!
UHF channel: TBC on the day
Given the approx size of the convoy we are allow 1.5hrs highway drive to time the next & final meeting location - Cricks Jeep Noosa (approx 8am arrival)

This is the final location for everyone to Meet/Greet.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU PURCHASE YOUR BEACH PERMITS PRIOR TO THE DAY OR ARRIVAL - DUE TO THE SIZE OF GROUPS WE WILL NOT HAVE TIME TO STOP FOR ANYONE TO PURCHASE ON THE DAY!
From Cricks Noosa, we will organise & break down into appropriate sized groups to head towards the Noosa Ferry. Trip Leaders will be there on the day to assist/guide attendees to the ferry - PLS ENSURE YOU HAVE CASH ONLY FOR THE FERRY FEES! $7 each way.
PLS NOTE: Due to the requests & permissions we have had placed on our Group Event Permit from Qld Parks & Wildlife Service - NO ONE is permitted to bring along a gazebo or erect any awnings on the day, (We are bringing along a 6x3 gazebo) so please leave them at home.
**This is a family friendly event - there is a strict no alcohol policy for drivers & passengers. **
