Default New Guy With Some Questions.

So I've had my MY13 Wrangler petrol manual for about month now done around 1500km's and i have some questions.

1) I seem to be able to hear \ feel vibrations from the gear changer when going from 1st to 2nd, 3rd is this normal?

2) When i change gear \ let the clutch out sometime at low idle i can hear a "clunk"

3) some duche bag has tried to break into my new Jeep and has completely wrecked the driver side key hole\lock does any one know aproxx how much this would cost?

Cheers,
SHIFTY!

About $100, $50 for the lock and $50 to key it to your key (based on your VIN) + postage.

You can find cheaper so consider that the maximum.

Mine does the same and another 2012 I drove for a couple of weeks also did the same. I let go of the clutch slowly when changing gears and that seems to work most of the time. Not sure if it's normal though...

There is no center diff, so the clunk you hear is the drive train. every jk does it

Default Don't worry be happy

I have done 10,000 in mine and the gearbox seems to be getting smoother. Clunk still there sometimes, JK is not a sports cars so I don't expect a Mx5 change. Reverse seems to be getting better or I am. Enjoy the fun of a manual.
