There's prob 2 hills that are half decent but the rest is just a bush/scenery drive which by the end you are wishing would hurry up and finish.
Finding good places close to Adelaide is tough tho, most things decent are at least 3 hrs away, Flinders, Loveday, Robe etc. Bendelby ranges is fantastic, similar to saunders gorge, only better tracks of all levels and accom from bush camps to old homestead. Willow springs is good too just a bit further. Thre's lots of other farms come camping/4WDing destinations throughout the flinders too. I like Loveday, near Barmera, so long as there's not too many others there, mid week is awesome.
If you find some good spots post 'em up here for sure!

Thanx for that; we're happy to do trips away from peak times as well. I'll definitley post areas I find and trips we do. As we are new to SA we're prepared to venture further afield but I'll try some local stuff first. Heading to Clare Valley next weekend without the Jeep, just a B&B on that trip.
