Temperature & pressure sensing system for off road?
A few weeks my compressor failed when attempting to air up after a day in the Gembrook state forest.
I was running 10psi and had to limp back to the servo, hazards on hoping I wouldn't cook a tyre.
Bloody humiliating experience and somewhat dangerous having to pull over to check if the tyres were heating up
I should fit a temperature & pressure sensing system because I run Staun bead locks and often air down to between 10 to 12 psi
what temperature & pressure sensing system is appropriate for off road duty, also...
no point knowing what temperature your tyres are at if you don't know at which point you could be doing excessive damage
What is a safe running temperature? or at what temperature do we start to cook a, say BFG KM2 with a temperature rating of C?
I believe the inferior C rating isn't that relevant in this situation?
