Default NSW rules

So what's the current stand point to register a vehicle purchased in Qld then taken to NSW.... The vehicle in question would be a XJ running 33's

You will need a "Blue slip" to get any out of state car registered in NSW.

I'm betting 33" tyres are more then 7% bigger then stock XJ tyres so you may need to find a spare set of stockers or a 4wd minded mechanic to get it passed.
Again the 2" suspension rule applies but a decent mechanic won't notice up to 3" .

They are usually harder on blue slip's then the normal rego check.

Who the hell knows what a stock XJ looks like anyway

They also check Vin , engine number and chassis number.
Helps a lot if you know where they are located.
