I have used a couple but they end up being the same, https://www.factorymoparparts.com
https://www.factorymoparparts.com/oe...RpZXNlbA%3D%3D
There is freight to add also import duties if it goes over allowable amt.
This as an example piston with rings will cost about $1200 from oz dealer.
Only problem is dedicated export parts eg. Specific RHD parts you won't
get, even tho they list the parts, I did get seat belts, air bag module, only
RH headlight (US$900) compared to $4500 oz)

I would suggest your best bet would be pickles or manheims auctions and let the
bidders fight over it, assuming it is not on the WOVR and is not dismantled
should go for 10-14g, you still have not said where you are located
Cheers

Hi mate,

What state are you in? This is exactly the kind of thing that NCAT was made for in NSW.

It's probably worth 10k to you to spend a day or so chasing this up..

Fuel pump self destruction is a bit of a worry , more so the crap that will then pollute
The fuel rails and injectors, wondering if there is a in line filter, screen unit that can be fitted after the pump in the hp fuel line
I might check out some hydraulic options, might save an engine or fuel system components
Whats people's thoughts?

That sounds familiar what brand of filters were NRMA using Ryco come without the cap and you re use the originals. It also appears that Wesfil have updated their filter caps. I have had two instances now of cracking in the filter caps have a look at this thread.

If you still have the offending filter cap you may have the evidence required
