Default WG interior light/rear wiper fuse blows randomly

Ok so Ive googled this and searched, seems to be a common problem but no real fix or cause, one thing I noticed is it takes out the headlights on after lock too, no visible shorts or rub trough's, it seems to happen while sitting overnight, anybody else fixed this? next step is to substitute the fuse for a light bulb and try and wait for it to fault, I'm starting to think its something to do with the headlights on courtesy thing as its not happening while using things like opening door or using wiper, replace fuse and lock car, come out next day and fuse blown, I guess I should tong it and see the current when its locking doors etc too, I'm away for work for the week so time to get my thinking cap on for when I get home...

What bulbs are you using for the interior?
I switched in led in all the millions of lights years ago but do remember it playing funny with a couple of them, under dash etc, so had to put regular bulbs back in.
Other than that, it seems like a short somewhere in the minefield of wiring. Or a bad earth, that's drawing power through the wrong way. Mine had a few random issues when I got it, I found all the Earth's possible, sanded them back and cleaned them up and it seemed to fix them all.

standard original bulbs, this is a 2 owner car never messed with until I got it haha, bad earth wont cause a short and blow a fuse, fortunately I'm a HV sparky so theres not magicery for me, just hoping to save some time via other peeps having done the leg work, seems to be a very common problem, I'm starting to think it something in the BCM with the turning lights on after locking...

Yep the bcm does some weird things. With the led in mine they are so dimly lit for ages, then the bcm finally cuts power to them. I've noticed this when camping, and it does weird stuff with the rear cargo light too. Bloody Jeep's! Haha

Haha, that is by far not the only thing I've had to fix, or done to it 👍
What locker are you going for? I've been contemplating a Spartan for the rear.

Ive got some info on my other thread WG CRD expedition project, I'm using the ford RTV and splicing the housing, its the same HD44/44A carrier and gear set but has a cast iron centre, cheap as chips just requires time...
