Not sure if the pics are going to do the event justice, but up in Tallarook this afternoon for a leisurely drive and came across this Zook hung up halfway down East Falls road. Definitely not going anywhere. So backed the GC up against a tree, anchored to the tow hitch around a big tree and spooled out the runva winch.
Got it off the hump, but then had to drag it up the hill backwards before we could turn them around.
All done safely, noone hurt, no major damage. Except all the recovery gear now dusty

Patrol on its roof = writeoff
TJ on its roof = unbolt bent bit, bolt back on new bit.

Well there is little bit more than that but at least any one with basic mechanical knowledge can do it
It won't rollover, maybe I'm not trying hard enough.
Er, actually, done that now too. What now?

Default Jku rubicon recovers ford hurricane

Was visiting my folks and decided to take them to the beach, Dad got a puncture so fixed that but then also had to tow him of the beach after the the Dual Cab started heating up and eventually got stuck in soft sand. JK Towed it out to the street entrance with ease were we aired up.

The puncture repair doesn't look pretty but is still holding air so all good.

We towed the dual cab with an equaliser strap as there was no recovery point on the front of the Dual Cab so thought this would be safer. Idea was as the strap was shorter it should not have been able to reach the cab of either vehicle and we could just keep tension on it the whole time instead of jolting it.

Made sense to us....

Nissan Patrol Recovered by Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2.

How incompetent is the Patrol driver or is just that the Jeep driver is awesome?
