Automotive EFI
I have been slack of late and put my F100 project in front of my XJ which I think needs a Crank Angle Sensor.
So last night while trolling around the websites I came across Automotive EFI in Lismore.
I used the website "contact us" email and told them my dilema.
That I have a '96 Cherokee with an '02 Wrangler 4.0L and I thought I needed a CAS.
To my suprise today I received a phonecall from them asking what the symptoms were and once diagnosed offered me a sensor that he thought may be the one.
When I couldn't say for sure he gave me the part number and told me to go to "checkmypart" website and type in the number and see if it looked like mine.
Regardless he says he carries all that it could be, and as soon as I identify the one it'll be on it's way to WA.
I am amazed that I even got a callback from a web inquiry as it's the very first time it has happened, and am very impressed with his willingness to work with me rather than just say, "get back to me with the part number"
Automotive EFI will be getting any business I need them for.
Thanks for listening to my rant....

Ok, so a small update.
On wednesday I called Dave about the CAS. The part number he gave me was wrong, which I called and told him thursday. He said, "give me 5 minutes and I'll call you back".
15min later he called me back with another part number and again told me to go to checkmypart and see if it looked like the one.
This time I checked it on my phone, called him back and told him it WAS the one, paid for it, (a lot dearer than ebay but it was in Aus so what the hell) and he said he would post it that day. (thursday)
TODAY, (monday) it arrived in the post and I was so happy I put it straight in when I got home.
BIG BIG praise for Dave at Automotive EFI. With service like that I am happy to pay a little more.
(having said that I never checked the price through a Jeep dealer)
