Default Relocated antenna

Moved antenna mount from passenger side guard to bullbar. I had a knock-box for the antenna too but due to the tight space it wasn't going to offer much.

There are 2 mic ports in the Uniden 8080s so I ran one extension lead to the middle of the bottom of the steering wheel at the dash and I ran the other inside the centre console panel at my left leg. I'm in the process of building a bracket that will mount somewhere near the pillar vent to hold the mic and my handheld uhf.

Going to buy a uhf antenna junction box and run a second antenna on the roof racks with the knock down box. Mounted the UHF in the centre console glove box (no point showing the photo as you really can't see anything)

How do these perform compared to a light bar or hid spotties?

Grippy, was that question directed at me?

If so, they seem to put out a much greater amount of light than anything I have tried earlier.

Cheap HID driving lights put out a crappy beam.

A 20" lightbar put out a reasonable amount of light, but only in close.

The Korr square LED lights weren't bad

These put out a lot more light, and project it a lot further. They seem to be great "Bang for the Buck".

I have not had a chance to use them much, but I look forward to giving them a good tryout as soon as I can.

Cheers

Excellent, thanks mate. It was directed at you, this app doesn't load all the posts sometime for some stupid reason so might have missed one.
I think these will supplement my light bars nicely (although they do put out a ton of light). I have been considering hid but this has swayed me to the LED spotties.
Oz Trekkers here in Adelaide have the Kings stuff now, and the bloke running the place seems decent , so will shoot in there to grab some when I have some spare cash.

I'm at a wedding in Yarra Glen at present. I will try to get a photo of these Kings 9" lights in action on the way home.

It will just be on my phone but it might help you.

Cheers

Just home. The phone doesn't take a really good photo at night, but here they are:

I'll try to get some on the local oval soon.

Cheers
