Default Help - Cherokee wont start

Hey guys. Sorry, I know there have been some posts about this but am under the pump at work and am on limited time at the mo.

Chero wouldn't start this morning. All the bells and whistles went off, radio started etc, but nothing. Just a click.

Just returned from a drive from a 4 day weekend at Rainbow beach with limited off road (just up the beach on hard sand) work.

I was thinking starter motor but at 6am this morning, was more interested in getting to work...

ITs a 98 Diesel if that helps.

Cheers

Chris

Was waiting on your response Gildo )

Manual so not NSS I reckon.

But after reading Murray's informative post, it could be a number of things.

Might be a trip out to see Footo me thinks.

Cheers lads

Might be yr starter motor. If all yr dash comes on (gauges working etc) and no crank then more offen starter motor. I have the same thing at the moment, went to start the car on a friday night 2 weeks ago and nothing. Checked starter relay etc and the terminal on the back of the starter, power was getting to the unit but unit was dead. So still waiting for the unit to come back from brothers workshop, hopefully be here on weekend. Its also amazing to see how many oil leaks u find whilst under the car as well haha
