Default Off road Adventure II - cost and worth

Hi all,

I am about to purchase a Jeep and was wondering what people think of the Off-road Adventure II package and what they paid for it.

Your feedback would be great.

Thanks

Skid plates - pretty much essential
Quadradrive II - awesome although it's a pity it no longer comes with front ELSD.

Yeah, if you're ever going to be off road it's worth it.

Should be a $1500 option I thought.

Interesting point you make there Bomber, but I wonder though, if the cost of the off road pack is approx $1500.00 & the QD I gather is now essentially just in the rear diff, would say an ARB air locker & an E locker make more sense in that the air & E locker's can be engaged in both high & low range. I realise that the lockers may cost more, but also may be more effective.

Would this not give a bit more flexibility in operation? Of course the skid plates are another point..very handy point, but it's just a thought about QD.
