The unmanned venture was a military based competition. They were all given a hummer as the base vehicle and they had to develop a rig that can self navigate through a series of check points over sever different terrains. The concept was to use a ground recognition system that would adjust the vehicle speed and "line" around and through the terrain. A $1000000 was for the winner. it was a long track like over 100 miles.
