A code reader with Live Data is a good tool, also for future reference, and can be bought for under $30.
If you don't have one, I think SCA offers now the 'service' to have your codes read, not sure if they ask money for this.
Any OBDII reader will be able to read the post-update codes, you could drive up to a (friendly) shop and ask them the favor to read your code, its really a 1 minute job.
