OK Rob. I filled myne up until it clicked off a couple of times getting 105Litres in (also put 20L in at home, maybe a little more but thats what I calculated was left in the old tank). I too had a drip, more a trickle. I got the guy to get a bucket and undid the drain plug and emptied 20L of Diesel out of the tank so that it would not continue to leak everywhere over the road and my driveway.

The petrol station guy offered to sell me a container to put the fuel in ($20). I said I would go home and get a container to put the $30 worth of fuel in. He said I can't have fuel just lying around here while you go home bla bla bla bla.....Then he tipped it in the garden!!!!!!!!!!

Sunshine state. I didn't pay the $80 to keep the old number got a new number. I ticked the Sunshine state box and the girl produced Smart state. I told her I really wanted sunshine state!

Now I just need to figure out where to put it permanently on the front so it won't come off and won't impede a future winch install.

Paid my folks to get it tinted.
Tint-a-car Midnight Express.
Should be done this week.
Hope they send me a pic.

well heaps of work today on the XJ
1 Harmonic Balancer
2 new fuel pump
3 pressure return valve in the tank
4 rewired the radiator fan and got it working
5 fitted speakers to the front doors
6 fitted a tow bar
7 fitted new s/hand antenna for the radio

looks like I have fixed the running problems but only time will tell.

For her 290K birthday I bought new filters, oil and greased her up.
