Default Not starting! - Starter relay problems

I have an interesting problem with my 2007 JK - Recent engine replacement, and after a week of no-problem driving it decides not to turn over on key start - Problem seems related to the Starter relay (one of the little grey boxes in the Totally Integrated Power Module: K6 on the Jeep wiring diagram) - If the engine decides not to start, and this seems a random and intermittent problem at present, we can get the engine turned over by removing and replacing the Starter relay, pushing the pins back into place in the TIPM just as your turn the key over - Sometimes a simple tap on the relay will also work - Swapping relays is not a fix - Seems like a contact problem on the underside of the TIPM - The truck is in with the technicians at the moment, and predictably I could not reproduce the problem when I delivered the machine to the workshop! - Anyone experienced anything like this?

Doctor G I'd suggest one of the pins inside a socket could be bent and giving intermitent probrably damaged when the engine was swapped, I had this happen with fuel pick up pump. a quick shake of the cable gave connection and then a decent bump would break connect.

what motor went in and why ????
