Default Endless Air

Got started today fabbed up some brackets and mounted the compressor (a Sanden off a V6 commadore)

with the inlet hose inplace I couldn't close the bonnet so off it came and I managed to find a 1/2" gal fitting I could weld on to some plate looks pretty rugged but it seems to work OK .

I got it all hooked up today and it puts out quite a bit of air and will easily run an impact wrench without a tank which surprised me the only problem is that it shuts down periodicaly I'm guessing that the thing near the back of the compressor is a temp switch of some sort which drops out when the compressor gets too hot(last picture) Can any one enlighten me?
