Default Yengo National Park

Hi,
Just had a great, albeit long, day trip through Yengo National Park yesterday. We basically followed the trip as set out in track #4 from the 4WD Treks Close to Sydney book. A great way to spend a warm Sunday through some pretty spectacular countryside. We did the side trip to the Aboriginal carvings down the Boree track - a decent, fun 4WD track which could prove challenging if it was wet. The only other section that may prove challenging is the Howes Trail Raod - again, moreso if it is wet. Best thing was, my wife was keen to have a go and she really loved the two more diffictuly sections. The only drawback is trying to get her out of the drivers seat!!
Next time, with a bit of planning, we want to the Big Yengo Loop trail.

No, mine's got a 4" lift plus 33" tyres. Although, I reckon a stock one should make it easy - no major obstacles just steep inclines/declines and some small, but steep ridges (not sure what they're called, but it almost looks like a BMXC track).

Sounds good.

So you still found it interesting with 4" and 33's? (been quite a capable jeep)

Might give it a go in my rubi.

This is a real nice drive but allow a full day then wind down at the settlers arms in st Albans. I drive this a while back in my stock rubicon and had a Kk and xtrail along too.
