Jeep accessories
Hey all,
I'm not sure if this is the right area or not to post as I'm only new. I have recently purchased a JKU and was given $1000 worth of jeep accessories ( which doesn't get you much) I decided on getting a set of windscreen mounted led lights. So I receive a phone saying my LED light kit is in and they booked me in. So I drop off my JKU and pretty happy to get my lights fitted. I call them up at 4pm to check its ready to be picked up but the dealer said that the lights brackets didn't arrive yet and they are not sold in Australia has anyone else had this trouble with jeep accessories that are on the jeep Australia website not being available here in Australia? What should I do I really don't want the light unless they are going to be mounted on the windscreen, but there isn't really much you can get for $1000 off jeep. Any information on what I should do and what else I could get instead if they can't get the brackets?
Sorry for the long question/rant.
Matt

Sounds like typical Jeep bs. If it's on the Jeep Australian website and its a mopar part there is no good reason why they shouldn't be able to get it for you.
I bought some Sill guards today. Get awesome reviews on Amazon.
Otherwise what are your plans for the car?
Front mudflaps might be useful.

Thanks that's what I thought. My plans for the car is not to go to extreme but front bar, winch, spotties or light bar undecided, and I want to run 33" tyres or there abouts so I'm guessing a lift is going to be required. Just want a bit of a tourer really that I can take away with my mates and brother inlaw up to the vic high country. I had a Suzuki jimmy before this so a big change.

Mopar front and rear bars are pretty good. Not sure what they are worth.
Jeep suspension is pretty average and you would be better getting something else.
Rock Sliders might be a good option.
Really depends on the price Jeep charge versus aftermarket.

Jeep accessories
Yeah I priced a jeep front bar and was shocked at the price nearly fell of my chair. Rock sliders are abit to pricey too can get them after market cheaper. The $1000 they give you doesn't go very far. It already had the mats and fuel cap the normal stuff they sell in the deal so has me stumped. That's why I picked the lights for something different that looked neat.

A towbar gives you a reliable recovery point, plus the ability to tow a trailer or hook up a bike carrier. Better if it's a genuine part for factory warranty.. Also, the hood latches are a bit loose from the factory, see if they do an upgrade through MOpar for those
