As far as I'm aware no one has had a FDCM replaced by Jeep (in Australia) in an attempt to rectify the faults created by the N23 flash only T/C motors as the faulty circuit board is part of the T/C motor.

It’s very interesting to read that the flash will show up pre-existing, previously undetectable faults.
If you read back in this thread “30D” had lost low range so replaced FDCM with a second hand one, he got low range back but had a constant service 4wd system on the dash.
The second hand un-flashed module picked up faults to the front diff the latest flashed module didn’t!
So much for their new software picking up faults the old software couldn’t.
It’s all a BS explanation from their legal department.

bjm...Your legal begale (hopefully a QC) should have a field-day with the "allows identification of a pre-existing electrical fault that was previously undetectable" which means to me that FC have actually dilivered faulty (substandard) hardware in the first place (and admitted it with their dodgy N23 denial) so it's up to them to replace it just like any other consumer product..Tricking it with (cheap fix) software isn't acceptable & then the PR BS to gloss over the N23 stuffup...Also I should have said T/C in my last post so added a correction

Yep if first you don't succeed stay tuned for the next exciting TSB..Think bjm said the previous TSB N23 update was canned by those who had it done in the US so this revision may be the fix...Maybe!!
You'd think that Chrysler having been in the car business since David played fullback for Jerusalem, they have bulletins A1 before release...or would you??...Maybe I'm getting old and sceptical..The N23 fiasco makes it hard not to be.

Makes all their previous denials look a bit stupid.

Might add that this is not a recall but a TSB so they won't let you know so don't hang out for a letter.. You'll have to get onto the dearler and lodge a fault complaint again.

bjm wonder how this affects your court case???

Absolute bloody joke!!!Are all these software updates done in theory or would they have a donor WH (WK) to work things out.?We are no closer to a fix than when this started over a year ago.
