Default TPMS RR not working

HI ya Jeepers

I have being looking on the forum for an answer to my questions, but I had been getting confused LOL.

I Have had a message pop up saying to service tyre pressure system, and I see my RR tyre is not displaying a pressure.

so im assuming my sensor in that tyre has shit itself.

im in the understanding I will need the 433 mzh sensor to suit my 05 WH.

can I just get a new 433 sensor and put it in and it will work ?
would it be a good idea to replace all of them ?

assuming I just install them and go for a drive and bingo.

I was going to look on ebay for new sensors.

any input appreciated
cheers for you help.

Sensors are self learning so just replace. Aussie wrangler sensors are 433 MHz as well, I'm using 2009 sensors from a JK.

Just to be sure it's the sensor swap the R/Rear with the front one, the fault will move with the rim if it's the sensor.

Hi Clarky,
I assume that the above discussion regarding the wheel sensors relates to a Grand where specific wheels are identified.
I get the same message in my navigator but it is generalised and not wheel specific. Is there a way to identify which sensor is faulty without going to the dealer?
Cheers
Dave

With the warning there will be a code.
C1501 - Tire Pressure Sensor 1 (L.F.)
C1502 - Tire Pressure Sensor 2 (R.F.)
C1503 - Tire Pressure Sensor 3 (R.R.)
C1504 - Tire Pressure Sensor 4 (L.R.)

only the Limited will display location on the dash
Laredo will only say service system and the yellow flat tyre symbol on the cluster.

Without an OBDII reader it will be hard to figure out.

There are three receivers for the TPS, one in each front guard behind the plastic liners and one mounted in the rear up near the spare tyre.

You should check the connections on these as well.
