I've made a link to YouTube, a video of what appears to be static garbage

https://youtu.be/zB7nRxuj-p8?si=Jv9p4smCSWa8DXwC

I am getting 106.5 ohms of resistance when checking the coil via the 2 pin plug.

I gave the lead a flick and noticed a change in the graph so I can confirm it is measuring OK.

Highly appreciate your help here. I'm now trying to track down a replacement injector and attempting to repair my old one.

Cheers
Tom

Well...if it measures 106 Ohms but still no pulse showing it could be some mechanical issue with the needle assy. in the injector . Another sugestion would be to check the injector wirring and see if there is no mofification done to it by solderring a resistor across the 2 wires and be hiden under the plastic tube covering .
Otherwise you will probably have to get another replacement injector. Cheers

Thanks I will investigate the wiring.
Very strange as its showing perfect ohm readings however when I rest the oscilloscope closer to the injector. It appears to hear the pulses. Quite the sensitive tool.

Refer above image.

Can you use a couple of sewing needle's to make contact with the leads where they connect to the injector?
I think one of the leads maybe earthed in the electronics somewhere or in the injector coil.
First, with the lead unplugged, check that neither of the wires has a partial short to the body of the injector. If you get a resistance value & not open circuit to earth, you have a problem. If there is no such issue, you could try seeing if you have a pulse when you attach the test leads to the wires where they go into the injector body. If you get a pulse there, its a lead problem.

See attached.
I tried out a different head phone jack. Tested with multimeter to confirm there was a good connection.
Got a far different reading but looks like it is pulsing all over the place. Coil still checks out OK.
I've got a spare injector that's fine apart from the coil. Going by the image of latest oscilloscope reading, would you suspect there is a mechanical fault with injector? I'm thinking of putting this coil in my original injector.

I suspect you have the vertical scale set so that you are just looking at noise.
Amlav may wish to comment as I have never used this app.
