Power steering fluid

What are people using for powersteering fluid for the XJ, which is locally available?

I use prestone stuff in a yellow container from supercrap. Dont know if the diesel PS requires different fluid to the 4.0

Don't know either- I would reckon that steering pars are the same for both?
Mine is a petrol 4.0

Steering box is probably same internally.
The pump on the diesel is a vane type pump. Much different location, shaft goes right through & is used to drive aircon compressor.
Doubt there is anything special about the PS requiring a special fluid.

I have used trans fluid for over 200K km’s without leaks or any other problems.
