I bought this code reader. It reads codes, tells you what they mean, shows you live data, erases/clears codes, etc etc. Was only $75 shipped to my door or so.

Ok so I finally had some free time and managed to get the dash back together
I think it looks heaps better than the tan colour. Now just have to lay the dynomat and carpet, then put all the black plastics and roof liner back in, and the inside should be sweet! Mmmmmm maybe some seat covers and dash mat also. Here are a few pics of how it's coming along.

Before

After

The roof liner went on really well I just trimmed the edges and stuck them underneath

And just a few pics of what the gold one is looking like

Also got my other one back, thinking about taking the bullbar from this one and putting it on the gold one

And desperately need proper wheels and rubber! I'm embarrassed to drive it with those on.

I'm in the process of doing this and was wondering about the top....

I also considered camo for my head lining but I'm going slightly left field with mine...

cheers

Normally you score the back in 7-10mm lines along where you want to bend it.

Dash looks really good xlukex, very clean and tidy.

Just paint the alloy bar black and give me the steel one off the black one, hahaha.

I'm liking the exterior checkerplate alot, minus the sticky-up bit on front doors. Might add it to my "to do" list and claim it as my own idea shhhhhhh

Looking good xlukex - might need some longer lower control arms on the black one?

Looks like i'm getting mine a temporary friend to pilfer some upgrades from then part out what's left with the help of negdriver

Lift kit, radiator, bull bar, trans solenoids, flex plate, snorkel etc

I might need an intervention soon.

This was about 50m down a rather wild dry creek at 11:15 pm
Rocks are bloody huge and the jeep got dragged across lots of it
Doesnt look like its been driven before or atleast in a long time

A log ripped it out
Luckily I had this one floating around in my change
No other tools with me or a spare

Turned around with about 9000 point turn and left
Will do the full run during day light.
