Default Diesel in a Wrangler

Has anyone done a swap of the 3.0 litre Bluetec into a TJ wrangler. AEV has done a couple of 2.8 CRD's in to TJ's here in the US, but we are only just getting the 3L in Q1 2007.

Too right.......

ni one of the recent episodes of Top Gear, they put the new twin turbo 3.0lt Diesel 5 series (535d) up against the 4.0lt V8 540i Sport - in fear of it kicking the ass of the petrol 195Kw 530i Sport.........which it would of absolutely spanked......

THe 540i V8 only just won.........go the Stig ......

not in a TJ.. but the guy who bought dads CJ7 renegade back in the mid 90s..
ripped out the stock motor.. and replaced it with a 2. something turbo diesel out of an ISUZU tow truck.. and it hauled ass like you wouldnt believe.

The new Jeep Diesel was to be 50 state legal but now looks to have slipped to 45 state legal. The 3.0L Bluetec is the MB engine and much better than the 2.8 CRD in the Jeeps now.
