Beefing Up The Wheel Arch Linners
Hi Guys,
I had some new 285/70/17 tyres fitted today that measure a full 33' inches with a little rubbing on the pinch seam that I will fix tomorrow. Prior to this I ran 275/70/17 Cooper ST's that initially rubbed a little wearing the liner away a little but it went away quick enough.
After 60,000k's the liners are looking a little average, I was thinking I would try tidy them up and beef them up a little while im at it. I have a 2 part Raptor bed liner kit in the shed that I was thinking to use to coat the felt liners and build them up a little this would also make them easier to clean in the future.
I figures the Raptor liner would bond pretty well to the felt surface and the stipple finish would look fairly decent. Has anybody tried this or seen this tried before. Ive seen plastidipping been mentioned on another forum but no photos.
Cheers
