Default Day trip Sunday 28th - Victoria

So does anyone wheel anymore in Vic?

Thinking a hard day in Cobaw.
Minimum 33s and a good winch.
Preferably 35s and lockers.

First track will be Alcorns, good good fun!

LOL, that's funny.

The club I'm in ran over 110 trips in the previous financial year in Victoria.

You should get out more often...

And the most helpful post goes to you my friend. You have reaffirmed my decision to not join a club.
Thank you.

And the fact in four lines of text you managed to use 'financial year' on a thread about going out for a wheel saddens me.

Tonka, I would have liked to come but just saw this thread and am out for a bit it seems.

There doesn't seem to be much goin' on anymore as far as wheeling in Vic here, since I came back. Maybe it's me

I have a personal boycot on any clubs now. Nothing against you Timbo, obviously it works for many, but...

Every club I have been in has needed many of the members to actually be clubbed just frankly.

I would bet that most people on this forum possibly started 4 wheeling with a club. I agee, some of them can be a bit on the nose, but overall they are out there keeping the tracks open for all 4 wheelers. Joining a club in not a life sentance. If you dont like the club u r in, you can join another, or you can be a member of more than one. You can also start your own with a group of freinds & make into the type of club you prefer. Please dont judge all clubs as being the same. You can learn heaps from them, or if you are experienced you can show others how its done. Clubs are just a group of people with the same intrests. I know that some club members can have opinions that may clash with yours, but if you can find a place or organization that doesnt, then i would like to know.

One thing that i would like to say is that whenever something goes wrong on a club trip, & we all know that the s**t will hit the fan at some point, they will always make sure you get home. The thing i have seen people do to help has been amazing.
