Emailed a couple of companies in the US. Can get one delivered to WA for $1099 total.
Sorry for double post - just bought the bar off ebay for $925 AUD, shipping from Californina included

I was sceptical at first, but on research it's via Ebay's own Global Shipping Program. Basically the US seller ships it to an Ebay depot in the US, where they repack where possible to cut weight, and then ship it en-mass with other orders. It only applies to items under 29kg, otherwise a premium applies.

As long as it's under $1000 AUD it's import tax free. So hopefully in about 2 weeks I'll have a fancy new bar to show off

That looks bloody nice! The diagonal slots in the back - for looks or is there something fitted into them like lights? Compatible with Mopar towbar?

Cheers, it's a variant on the Or-Fab standard bar which is available here in Aus for around $1200. I tried to shop local but couldnt find this particular bar anywhere in Aus.

Yes the slots are for a pair of LED lights, which come included. It fits with the factory tow hitch.

I will need to get some mudflaps though, maybe a set of the Teraflex removable or something.

Well, any doubts I had about the global shipping program have been blown away. That's a 41.3kg package, delivered from Tennessee to WA for $38AUD in 12 days.

That's a bargain if I do say so myself. Will hopefully have some pics of the bar up this afternoon and then mount it!

F@&k me sideways, I just paid $7 USD to get a sticker sent. The size of an envelope and weighed the same as a bee's dick. How do you order stuff with ebay global shipping?

How it works is the US seller ships it via UPS to a depot in Kentucky, run by one of ebay's minions, Pitney Bowes.

If you read about it online the GSP doesn't have a good reputation when it comes to small items. That's because they open and repack the stuff to save weight, but it seems if it's well packed and over a certain limit, they just leave it as is.

It's a game changer. I'll PM you the name of the ebay store, don't want to give them free advertising.
