I agree on the coopers mate, I have had both BFG AT's (115,000k) and BFG KM2's (10,000k) and love them, I picked up a set of 5 stock 07 alloy's with cooper at'sat about 65% for $100 to run as road tyres and the only positive coment about them is they where cheep.

How much of the tyre will be sticking out the flares if using 35" on 4.75BS -12 offset?

Heaps! Presuming its a 12.5" wide tyre you have increased thd offset by 57mm over stock plus pushed the outer edge of the tyre another 25 to 30mm. So grab a ruler and measure about 90mm further out than your stock tyres to get an idea.

Thanks for that Dav. I don't have my car yet so I can't measure it. Just wondering if anyone knows how far it sticks past the flares. Rim 17x9 4.5"bs -12 offset. Tyre 315/70/17

I just stuck 285's on the stock rims so I have pushed the tye edge 20mm further out and the outside edge of the sidewalls are about 10mm inside the guard, tread edge about another 15 mm in from that. So you would be roughly 80mm outside by calculation. Someone with the same setup will chime in shortly.

I am running 285/70r17 on 17x9 rims with +20 offset. Edge of tread is right on edge of guard & sidewall bulges outside by approx 1/2 to 3/4inch. Looks great but needs slight guard extension for total legality.

BTW +20 offset is the largest offset without breaching the 50mm track increase rule.
