Default Good Rear Ground in JKU (my15)

Hey all,

I'm mounting a lithium battery in teh rear of the JKU over the tyre arch.

Just wondering if anyone has some photos of where they've found a good ground point.

While I'm running 6B&S to the battery for the DCDC charger, i want a solid body ground for the accessories and battery output.

Where have people used. Ideally a photo would help. The info ive found via searching not so awesome. (Or i'm a nuff, probably the later).

i always use dual core cable and ground the auxiliary at the the body earth points at the battery. This eliminates any possibility of voltage drop.
Unfortunately I've spent too much time repairing faulty earths at the rear on both body and chassis over the years.

I have an auxiliary battery mounted on top of my draws in the rear. I ran the earth through the grommet into the cavity behind the tail lights.

Thats happening,, however, for the 40 amp coming in from the main battery for the DCDC. For the the 100 odd amps at max usage from the additional battery. Id like a chasis ground for safety for the distrobox off that battery.

The other thing you could do is run it behind the tail light and through to the chassis out the bottom of the cavity.
