Default SOLID Dana 60s Finally Installed

Boys & Girls Mickey is Back with Solid 60s front and rear along with 1350 driveshafts and few other mods.

First of all I would like to thank all of you who have helped me in this journey. Special thanks to Danny Milton from SOLID who performed the entire work. And members from AJOR Wooders , IAN from Queensland, Chris Mt Extreme , Andrew GM , FlexyTJ who all have helped me a lot.

Well it was a difficult and lengthy job I must say. But the end results I am very happy with. The vehcile rides better than stock, I have retained my lost power by 5.13 gears, and high steer is a must have along with free wheeling hubs the vehcile rolls much smoother than before.

The quality of SOLID Axles are pretty impressive especially the size and beef around the kingpin knuckles and Diff tubes.

All the ABS sensors and ESP etc all working perfectly as a matter of fact they get sealed better then stock axle senor positions.

The mods details are as follows

SOLID FRONT DANA 60
ARB Air Locker
Superior 5.13 Ring & Pinion
4340 Chro Moly 35 Spline Axle Shafts
Free wheeling Hubs
KingPin Knukles
High Quality Bigger Brake Calipers

SOLID Custom heavy duty chromoly Drag Link
SOLID Custom heavy duty Chronoly Tie Rod
SOLID Custom heavy duty chromoly Panhard

All with 1 TON heavy duty Tie Rod Ends

REAR SOLID DANA 60

3.13 x 1/2 inch wall DOM tubing
Heavy duty Solid Axle Industries’ differential cover
U-bolt style yoke
35 Chromoly Axle Shafts
ARB locker
Forged Solid Axle Industries wheel hubs
Timken roller bearings
Solid Axle Industries chromoly drive flange kit

In order to accomadate the new diffs a different and shorter driveshafts were required so we installed Tom Woods custom 1350 rear drive shaft and 1310 front.

Also new wheel bolt patteron was required for free wheeling hubs and d60 rotors so replaced the wheels by 5x5.5 bolt patteron instead of 5x5.

All installed AEV snorkel and Andrew OnTrack 4x4 made a custom air box to fit the AEM bigger air filter for more HP and Torque.

End results pics as follows

Mickey ready to be picked up on the Delivery Day very exicited

Mickey Flexing for some poser shots

Tom woods 1350 rear

tom woods 1310 front

Pic of Andrew art work custom air box

Also installed heavy duty power steering cooler to keep the pump happy with 37"

Once again thankyou all for ur help.

Happy Jeeping
