And how did you mount it to the car? My front bumper has a curve to it...

I could not see the link, let me see if I can find the details. You discovered the same issues that I did. This is why I used the grommets I will take some pics from the side.

So it is solid enough? My bumper seems to move around a lot...

It is nice and solid with very little movement. This was important so it didn't wobble or jump around when on road or off road.
The top is fixed through the original holes with stainless bolts with large washers on the back. I did it all when I took the bar off to change the grill inserts.

Fitted and wired up my winch last weekend, this weekend fitted a Redarc tow pro elite brake controller and an Anderson plug. A bit of mucking around but got it sorted. Time for spottier next weekend and hopefully the UHF if it arrives in time. Getting my GC ready for our new caravan.
