You could always wire in a resistor to drop the voltage.

Your right mek67j they told me the same thing they had then for $12 each, was trying to do a simple plug & play job.

Same thing happened to mine. They were cheap ones from eBay with that collection of small bulbs. The new ones I got are from a seller on eBay called carxxx. They seem much brighter and look very different to the others as they seem to have true LED diodes and not small bulbs.

Hey just a quick observation. I think the globe you have been changing is actually your high beam?

Many current model vehicles run a HID for low beam headlights and a halogen for high beam. They then run the high beam halogen at half voltage for a day running light.

Have you tried high beam since changing to the LED?
