Default Welding Jackets

Been considering investing in a welding jacket for a while now - plenty of my clothes have the telltale black spots so I was thinking it would be a good thing - especially for the occasional welding upsidedown.
Considering somthing like the Black Stallion Jacket, Looks comfy, but not so sure how well it fends of the spiltball attacks.
Not cheap - but also thinking something like this BSX combo pigskin/cotton jacket.
Edit: Also really like this Blackstallion full pigskin

Don't really want a stupidly big heavy cowhide blanket style, would rather something I could wear for a few hours incomfort.
So those of you that do a lot of welding whatca use &/or recommend?
Also once I decide what I want - Anyone also interested let me know and might do a groupby.

I have a couple of old country fire authority overalls that I use. They handle the embers well. You could try the op shops for a leather coat. Just trying to keep your costs down so you can keep your prices down !!

I have seen leather aprons in Repco for about 20 bucks on specila. But I think Dave wants something that will not flop around when he is on his back welding?
