Maybe start another 'Where's Wooders' thread - that usually brings everyone with an opinion or 3 out of the woodwork

Awesome idea!! BUT. It would have to be at Camp Coffs, if he's not too busy..

He could team up with the Jeepster Bunny...

I think the forum is fantastic, serious Jeeper's know the forum contains a bucket load of knowledge and wisdom from heaps of different memebers. Most importantly, this data can be archived and searched for later use.

Yes Facebook caters for the quick posts, community recognition and same old questions flowing through but It's quality over quantity thing here I reckon.

Keep doing what this forum does well... knowledge source for real projects, marketplace and Jeep info!

I think the like button has helped cut down the 'yes I agree' reposts a lot, so useful info has become quicker to find. There still is a fair bit of that though (i.e. The nothing replies). Dare I say I do like the more American style of less discussion/detail, more photos. May be a bit poser-like but scrolling through the photos is enjoyable. EDIT: forgot to mention though, I do really enjoy this network. Thank you all.

I think there are several reasons. JKs are easier to modify than the XJ and tj so less knowledge is needed. We have very few places left to go wheeling in seqld. The mod laws put a lot of people off.

I think times for some people are getting harder financially. People maybe working longer hours. Maybe the new generations are less likely to want to get out there and play hard. I think the newer generations maybe less likely to be community minded.

I think all this put together is why ajor is possibly quieter. How can it be improved. Maybe people could try to run more trips, toolbox days, maybe just a barbecue in a park somewhere to get people talking and maybe foster some ideas.

I think David has pretty much covered it I am 27 and mortgage 2 kids etc doesn't leave much if anything for the jeep ad to that time issues and the constant struggle between work family and jeep time and it's hard I've had my poor xj pulled apart for months now and just can't find a spare weekend to get stuck in. Another thing to remember is the general idea of jeeps out there yes it is improving but most young blokes still want the big patrol or cruiser. I think local meet days would be great but it's hard not to become police bait when a heap of modded fourbys get together.
