My question is do you have a stats of how many JK in manual form have been sold and how many have had a failure ? also what % went offroad and failed later on ? personally I think you have buckleys but good luck.

I reckon a class action is a waste of time. a clutch is a very hard thing to argue about - 99% of the time clutch failure is caused by the user being incompetent and to have a successful class action you need to be able to prove its not caused by improper use of the clutch which is virtually impossible

For Jeep Australia to notice I need to find others in the same boat as to a failure within a short timeframe. Part of the problem that even Jeep acknowledges is that excessive heat problems. Hence batteries blowing, turbo hoses going, and as jeep stated on my clutch excessive heat and melted the top plastic switch? as well. Not sure what he's talking about at this time but will see it Friday.
Part of the solution for warranty claim is defining the problem and linking it to know failures and fixes. There are a number of CRD issues acknowledged by Jeep and with expertise help I can link them.
Hence all I need to know is who has had a clutch failure and at what km / months / etc
Statics prove that clutches last for over 120k on average over all brands. A proven fact used in a case a few years back

PS I love my JK and are not bashing/ bagging the brand or model but trying to resolve a issue with Jeep that most members have issues with on CRD's. I'm happy to get a fix and move on and replace it with a better aftermarket part when one comes available, but like slow fill issue etc, I would like jeep to acknowledge the issue, repair the car and lets get back to jeeping and having fun with our tops off
